Compass of the Mind
Welcome to Compass of the Mind
Our mental health is a lifelong journey, something we carry with us each day, and nurturing it is an essential part of a fulfilling and purposeful life.
My therapy approach is grounded in valuing your uniqueness. I aim to understand you—your story, your strengths, and your struggles. Therapy is a space for your voice to be heard, a place to experience your emotions in a containing way and a space to be held, as I walk alongside you as a fellow traveller on your path.
Together, we will build a collaborative, personalised pathway that reflects what matters most to you. Therapy with me is tailored and person-centred, shaped by your individual goals and guided by a genuine commitment to support you in the way that fits you best.
I believe therapy is more than relieving symptoms in the short term, but understanding your yourself and your experiences, to support long-term, sustained wellbeing. Based on your needs, I offer a range of evidence-based approaches. Whether you mental health is impacting on your day-to-day or you are not quite feeling yourself, we can explore together how past experiences, interpersonal relationships, beliefs, and other processes may have shaped current difficulties.
I believe change doesn't occur only in the context of the therapy room and we are not existing in isolation. Rather we are shaped and impacted by our wider social, cultural and family environment, external pressures, expectations and responsibilities, other health conditions, and so on, which is why I take a holistic, integrative approach that considers the whole of your lived experience.

'Isabel is a great psychologist;
a cheerleader for her patients.'
'I still think about what she said to me now the therapy has ended and I’m still working on our goals.'
'Highly recommend this service and catered to the needs I have.'
'Isabel has been a fantastic psychologist and aided greatly with my OCD. Her interpersonal skills and understanding helped me to understand myself and reassured my abilities to continue with treatment outside of clinic. I was a bit of a mess and felt trapped in this spiral but now I think I can make it through.'
